Computing Lab Bio Sci Computing Services provides 2 computing labs for drop in and instructional use. The computers are Dell Optiplex machines running Windows XP and have standard productivity applications such as Microsoft Office. 2144 Natural Sciences I is on the main floor of the building. This lab can accomodate up to 34 people. To see the current schedule of this lab visit the Calendar for 2144. 3116 Natural Sciences is on the the 3rd floor of the building. This lab can accomodate up to 24 people. To see the current schedule of this lab visit the Calendar for 3116. To reserve to use the computing lab for a class send an email to eric.sanchez@uci.edu. If software is needed for a class taught in the lab, we require a lead time of 3 weeks before the start of each quarter for adequate software test/installation. All software requests must have a proper and valid license. No exceptions. There is no charge to use the lab if the class is listed in the Quarterly UCI Schedule of Classes. For any other uses of the lab, a fee will be assessed at the rate of $65/hour.
